Australia’s largest public transport project to build new Sydney Metro Northwest line gained partial FSC project certification for its metro Rouse Hill Station.
Sydney Metro Northwest Project has become Australia’s first infrastructure project to gain FSC partial project certification for a metro station. The timber used to build metro station canopies and parking facades is sourced from local FSC-certified forests in New South Wales, the state on the east coast of Australia where Sydney is located.
