FSC Introduces Follow-up Transaction Verification for Paulownia
FSC will introduce a second series of transaction verifications from September 2019 as a follow-up to the first one conducted earlier this year.
Businesses required to participate will receive notification directly from their certification body by 26 October with further details on requirements. The deadline for the certificate holders to complete the verification is 26 November.
FSC has been conducting transaction verification on paulownia supply chains with selected certificate holders since last February, as a response to allegations of inaccurate claims and some companies sourcing from non-FSC certified forests.
