Job opening for FSC FM/COC Auditors in India

Job Description

As a Forestry Auditor, you will be responsible for planning and conducting professional Forestry Management system (PEFC and FSC) audits in accordance to the procedures to enable the delivery of assessment and certification services that meet customer requirements.

This is a national role covering India primarily, but international travel could be expected. The role will involve traveling to the client site and the candidate should be willing to travel extensively.

Qualifications

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in forest-based and related industries and will have held positions with significant forestry management system responsibility and will demonstrate excellent working knowledge of FSC/PEFC standards, compliance and auditing techniques. Experience held within a Forestry Certification Body would be highly beneficial.

The successful candidate will have relevant workplace experience and will have conducted audits against FSC and/or PEFC. You will also require knowledge corresponding to at least a secondary education that includes or is supplemented with courses related to forest based and related industries where the auditor(s) conducts chain of custody audits, however the ideal candidate will have completed a recognized FSC Lead Auditor training course / qualification and will be qualified to the latest version of the standard.
