Public consultation on FSC Risk Assessment for Thailand

A draft FSC risk assessment for Thailand is open for consultation from 15 October to 13 November 2018.

FSC risk assessments are used to determine the risk of an organization obtaining material from unacceptable sources when sourcing controlled wood.

Currently, risk assessments for Controlled Wood Category 4 are based on legal analysis alone. To fill the resulting information gap, we ask that stakeholders provide information regarding forest conversion data.

Stakeholder feedback received during the consultation period will be used to finalize these risk assessments. Read more…
