Successful ILO Core Conventions Working Group Meeting

The working group tasked with developing generic criteria and indicators for compliance with the International Labour Organization (ILO) Core Conventions met for the second time in Bonn, Germany on 12–14 April 2016.

The members reviewed and refined the work previously done on the following:

  • the abolition of child labour (Conventions 138 and 182),
  • prohibition of forced labour (Conventions 29 and 105), and
  • elimination of discrimination (Conventions 100 and 111).
